Watermelon vs Seed

In writing we learned the difference between a watermelon and seed story. Just as there are many seeds inside a watermelon, there are many small moment stories inside one event.

We broke into pairs to write and illustrate seed ideas for big watermelon ideas like, a birthday party, a day at the beach, a soccer game, going to an amusement park, and playing at recess.

The Owls did a wonderful job!!
